Weather Office Tour and Balloon Launch

Ever wondered what happens at the office next to the big white ball atop Griffey Hill? Come and tour the National Weather Service (NWS) office and get an inside look at how weather forecasts are made and meet the people who make them. This tour will feature the launch of a weather balloon from inflation to flight. Find out more about how radar works, the challenges of weather forecasting in Wyoming, and the different ways the NWS sends forecasts and warnings to the public.
